Guy Fawkes: The AR Experience was group coursework for the Augmented and Mixed Realities module. Team members were Anna-Louise Blewden, Holly Clibbon, Sean Hangstrom, Nicalia ThompSon, Junyi Zou, and myself. Everyone worked together for brainstorming the concept, level design, and game mechanics. My main contribution was programming, and playtesting. I’ve mainly worked on image tracking for the letters, animation control, UI systems, and designing particle systems.

It is an AR location-based historical treasure hunt app targeted at families and tourists. The player can learn some history on the journey to find Guy Fawkes by following the clues to his hidden places.

The main goal for the player is to find Guy Fawkes and save the Houses of Parliament before it blows up from the gun powder. If the player succeeds, a firework will display on-screen to mark the end of the successful quest.

Technology used:
- Image tracking for solving the riddles
- Hot/cold proximity detector using GPS tracking
- Touch detections
- A combination of diegetic and non-diegetic UI elements
